Hi! I’m Cianne

I’m an Ayurvedic practitioner, yoga teacher, herbalist, and a mother based in Marin County, California. My approach to wellness is grounded in the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda and Western herbalism, guided by a deep care for the whole person—body, mind, and spirit. I believe that true healing arises when we honor the interconnectedness of all aspects of ourselves, and that medicine is not just found in bottles or prescriptions—it is all around us, woven into the natural world and our daily lives. Ayurveda and herbalism, though rooted in time-honored traditions, must evolve to meet the unique needs of our modern world. This openness to growth and discovery allows me to integrate practices that complement and enhance these teachings, ensuring your journey to balance, purpose, and ease is as dynamic and evolving as you are.

Ayurveda recognizes that every individual has a unique elemental constitution.

which means that healing must be deeply personalized and aligned with your body’s natural rhythms. My approach to Ayurveda is grounded in this spiritual understanding of the body, mind, and spirit as interconnected. While I honor the profound wisdom of Ayurveda, I also recognize that modern life can be fast-paced and demanding. Many seek balance and vitality but don’t have time for lengthy rituals, complex routines, or intensive detoxes (though there is certainly a time and place for these). Instead, I offer a holistic, intuitive approach that integrates the healing benefits of Ayurveda in a way that is nourishing, sustainable, and accessible—empowering you to live a life that is vibrant, balanced, and truly in tune with your whole being.

Meet your Practitioner

What initially drew me to Ayurveda—and what continues to inspire me—is its ability to address not just the physical body, but also the emotional and spiritual layers of our being. Ayurveda teaches us that we are a microcosm of the world around us, and when we heal one, we heal the other. It’s this profound understanding of interconnectedness that sets Ayurveda apart from other wellness practices. The true magic of Ayurveda lies in the beautiful, daily rituals that reconnect us to our most authentic selves, helping us align with the flow of life and remember our innate wisdom.

In addition to being a lifelong student of Ayurveda, I’m deeply passionate about all forms of healing and wellness. I believe that whatever medicine we seek—whether in the form of ancient practices, plant medicine, or modern-day tools—must resonate with the rhythms of our lives. Healing medicine is all around us; it’s in the food we eat, the breath we take, the laughter we share, and even the stillness of a quiet moment. It’s not always about grand gestures, but about reconnecting to what nurtures us. That’s why I’m passionate about integrating Ayurvedic wisdom with the power of plant medicine and therapeutic yoga in ways that are both practical and soul-nourishing.

I feel incredibly fortunate to have been raised in a community of healers, herbalists, and midwives. This upbringing taught me the importance of honoring our bodies’ innate ability to heal and the deep wisdom that resides within us all

Yet, like many others, I found myself out of balance as I navigated the fast-paced demands of modern life. I sought relief through quick fixes, but soon realized they only deepened my sense of disconnection—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. That’s when I made the bold decision to leave everything behind and travel to India to study yoga and meditation. Cue magical healing! Or… not exactly.

One of my teachers once said, “Often the magic of healing is realizing that the medicine we need is right underneath the wounds.”

This truth became clear to me as I embraced the deeper layers of healing, realizing that true transformation happens when we reconnect to the wisdom and medicine that is already present within and around us.

After returning from India, I dove deeper into my own journey and began teaching yoga. Several years later, after giving birth to my daughter, I found myself grappling with emotional and hormonal shifts during the postpartum period. It was then that Ayurveda gently entered my life, offering me the tools I needed for deep self-care. One of those tools was abhyanga—the Ayurvedic practice of slowly massaging warm oil into the body. As I practiced this, I experienced an internal shift, seeing my body for the first time as both whole and holy. I felt an undeniable calling to explore Ayurveda further.

Three years after that pivotal moment, I’ve had the privilege of studying with some of the top female Ayurvedic leaders in the field. I’m now living my own version of a modern Ayurvedic lifestyle—one that’s grounded in practicality, spirituality, and self-compassion. And I’m truly honored to help others, like you, embark on this transformative journey to embrace Ayurveda and the healing medicine that’s all around us.

 A little more about me

Friend, if you've made it this far down the page, I want you to know...

I truly understand how challenging it can be to juggle a career, relationships, and still try to stay connected to yourself. It often feels like when one part of life is thriving, another gets pushed to the side. But I promise you, balance is possible. This is the heart of Ayurveda—finding harmony in the chaos, and learning to align with your own natural rhythm.

I also know what it’s like to search for quick fixes or to get excited about the latest wellness trends, only to find that the packages sit unopened because we’re too drained to actually give ourselves the care we deserve. I’ve been there too. But what Ayurveda has taught me is that true health doesn’t come from chasing trends or jumping from one quick fix to the next. It’s about creating a simple, grounded routine that honors your body, mind, and spirit.

Well-being isn’t about being perfect or “doing it all” perfectly. It’s about showing up for yourself in small, meaningful ways every day, with self-compassion and grace for the human experience. Ayurveda helps you tune in to your own body’s wisdom, so you can create a lifestyle that feels nourishing, sustainable, and deeply aligned with who you truly are—without all the pressure..
